Differential Pressure Transducers
Industrial Wet/Wet Differential Pressure Transducers
Sensor device which uses thin-film, strain gage, bonded foil strain gage or micro machined silicon structure technology to measure the differences between two pressure inputs. Wet / wet defines that the instrument has been designed to function correctly with both positive and negative ports exposed to liquids as well as gases. Differential sensors can be uni-directional or bi-directional and the technologies available provides the capability of introducing highline and / or high over pressure if required. The sensor output can be in mV, V (i.e., typically 0 to 5 V) or current I (i.e., typically 4 to 20 mA).
High Accuracy/High Stability Differential Pressure Transducers
Most pressure transducers feature an accuracy of 0.25% of full scale or higher. High stability and high accuracy pressure transducers can offer errors as low as 0.05% of full scale, depending on model. Although more expensive than general purpose transducers, they may be the only option if high precision is required.
Low Range Differential Pressure Transducers
Sensor device which uses thin film, bonded foil strain gage or micro machined silicon structure technology to measure the small pressure difference between two pressure inputs. The pressure module converts the differential pressure into an electrical signal. Low range differential sensors can be wet/wet, wet/dry, unidirectional or bi-directional and the technology has the capability of introducing highline and / or high over pressure if required. The sensor output can be in mV, V (i.e., typically 0 to 5 V) or current I (i.e., typically 4 to 20 mA).
