Sensor (Load Cell) Design EngineerLocation: Sunbury, OH
Omegadyne, Inc. has an immediate opening in our Engineering Department for a Sensor (Load Cell) Design Engineer. This candidate will be responsible for designing and developing sensor products to support all markets such as aerospace, medical, automotive and industrial test and measurement. Primary responsibility is to develop load cell/strain gage designs and manufacturing processes for multiple product lines. Create mechanical and electrical specifications for new sensor designs. Perform engineering FEA (stress/strain) analyses utilizing design software (COSMOS/AutoCAD). Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with vendors, customers and internal departments.

B.A./B.S. degree required; B.S.M.E. preferred. Candidate must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of design experience and must have previous experience designing load cells/strain gages. Experience performing FEA analysis utilizing mechanical drafting software packages such as AutoCAD and COSMOS is required.

Sales EngineerLocation: Sunbury, OH
Omegadyne, Inc. has an immediate opening in our Sales Department for a Sales Engineer. This candidate will be responsible for selling load cells, pressure sensors and strain gage products and services. Assume a lead role in generating account revenue by visiting customers/potential customers, determining their load cell and pressure measurement applications/requirements and supplying a measurement solution comprised of Omegadyne products. Contact new and existing customers to identify and discuss their load cell and pressure applications, and emphasize Omegadyne product features based on both the analyses of customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations. Identify potential customers and OEMs that have requirements for Omegadyne load, pressure and strain gage products in a variety of different industrial, research and university settings, and arrange visits with potential customers to ensure these organizations have a full understanding of Omegadyne’s capabilities for both product and system level solutions. Identify new potential applications & perform customer/market research that details potential customers and anticipated revenue for Omegadyne.

B.A./B.S. degree required in engineering or related technical field, most preferably with a major in electrical or mechanical operation and application. Candidate must have a strong technical product and systems sales background and must possess a minimum of 5 years of proven relevant sales experience. A solid understanding of process measurement, test and control instrumentation is required with particular emphasis on load cell and pressure measurement operation and application. Must have significant sales experience with commercial aerospace and military applications. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with customers and internal depts.
